The association is endeavouring to communicate to the widest possible audience that Cold Callers are the biggest single problem affecting the industry.<\/p>\n<p>If you receive a call about your timeshare from a company or individual that you do not know and have not dealt with they have almost certainly obtained your contact information from a list that should have been protected.<\/p>\n<p>These lists are sold or obtained illegally and used to try and persuade individuals to part with money and or their timeshare week by companies who then disappear once they have collected enough funds.
